Munara Murat

Munara Murat is a Junior Accountant at North Star Alliances. She brings experience in auditing, financial analysis, fiscal budgeting, and non-profit and governmental accounting to her current role. At NSA, Munara works closely with the accounting team to process the company’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, bank reconciliations, and invoices.

Previously, Munara served as an Audit Associate at KPMG, where she conducted financial statement audits and prepared audit documentation. Prior to joining KPMG, Munara was a Tax Examiner at the District of Columbia’s Office of Paid Family Leave. She has a strong understanding of the guiding principles of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), General Services Administration (GSA) and Generalized Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Munara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Maryland, College Park and a Master’s degree in Accounting from George Washington University.
