At NSA Muna oversees project deliverables for clients that include Cabrera Capital, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), and the Center for Nonprofit Management. She is a critical component of NSA’s client management team who ensures deadlines are met and acts as the liaison between community based organizations and NSA clients.
Muna started her career working with nonprofit organizations in Southern California that served various populations such as at-risk youth, the unhoused, low-income families, and individuals seeking legal assistance. She recently served as a Lead Coordinator at City Net, a nonprofit that is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness. In the role Muna worked at the largest homeless shelter in Orange County, which has an average of 400 beds available on any given day. During that time she not only provided clients with immediate needs like food and clothing, but also interfaced with hundreds of volunteers to ensure the daily donation events ran smoothly. Additionally, Muna leveraged her technical knowledge by managing databases and presenting reports for social service projects both internally and to the county at large.
Muna earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University Fullerton.
