Julio Puma
Julio Puma serves as a Marketing Strategist at North Star Alliances (NSA), where he plays a pivotal role in driving brand strategy, business development, project management, and client marketing process development and optimization. As Marketing Strategist Julio has spearheaded notable client projects, including the concept development and execution of the Center for Nonprofit Management’s annual regional conference. He managed the creation of the event's virtual component, overseeing content development, functional set-up, and seamless execution on the day of the event. Additionally, Julio regularly supports the development of NSA’s new business proposals that include marketing services.
Julio brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, rooted in his upbringing as a bilingual and bicultural individual in Los Angeles. His comprehensive understanding of the Hispanic community, coupled with his diverse background across industries including pharmaceuticals, real estate, and healthcare, positions him as a strategic leader in fostering genuine connections between brands and diverse audiences. Julio has held marketing positions at companies AppleCare Medical Group, Golden Outlook Insurance Services, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University in Latin American Studies and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
