Elisa Ascencio

Elisa is a Senior Accounting Manager at North Star Alliances. With a decade of experience in accounting, she is passionate about working with organizations to safeguard their financial data and improve their accounting systems. At NSA, Elisa works closely with the Accounting team to manage accounts payable and receivable reconciliations. She also conducts financial analyses, in which she assesses the company’s financial performance, processes, and risks, as well as compliance protocols.

Prior to joining NSA, Elisa worked at the One & All Agency, where she served as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. During her tenure she led projects to automate finance processes using Microsoft Flow/Power Automate, and played a key role in forecasting, budgeting, and identifying growth opportunities for major client verticals. She also oversaw a team of three during the COVID-19 pandemic, maintaining the team’s efficiency and growth during their transition to remote work.

Elisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently studying to receive a Masters of Science degree in Cyberaccounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
