Kara Prior

Kara Prior serves as a Media Relations Advisor at North Star Alliances. She comes with nearly a decade of agency experience in media relations across non-profit, consumer, and business sectors.  Her client roster has included the likes of global and American companies, such as lululemon, National Geographic, The Nuclear Energy Institute, Sony Music Latin America and more. She has a proven track record of securing boundary-pushing and sales-driven coverage for clients, as well as executing award-winning creative PR campaigns. 

Kara’s past roles include serving as an Account Executive at Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, a full-service public relations agency firm. While at Sunshine Sachs Kara managed many consumer products client campaigns and provided on-the-ground support at high-profile entertainment events that include the GRAMMYs and the Academy Awards. Prior to Sunshine Sachs she worked at Mercury Public Affairs, a global public strategy firm. Kara is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
