Brian Stedge-Stroud brings over 18 years of strategic communication, government, and political expertise. He understands state and local government politics and has expertise in strategic communications and thoughtful community engagement. 

Brian currently serves as NSA’s lead Project Manager for the City of Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) “On-Call Bench for Business Development Services for the Social Equity Program” and also worked on the Los Angeles Unified School District “2021 Redistricting Plan,” and the Los Angeles County “Restorative Justice Village Master Plan.”

Before working with NSA, he served as Deputy Communications Director for the New York State Senate Majority, Communications, District Director for California Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian, and most recently oversaw the Southern California office for a national public affairs firm.

Brian serves as a Commissioner on the City of Santa Monica Public Safety Reform and Oversight Commission, served on the Upper Los Angeles River and Tributaries Working Group, and was Vice Chair of the City of Santa Monica Social Services Commission.
