Astha Guragain

Astha Guragain serves as North Star Alliance’s Research Analyst. In the role, she conducts in-depth analyses of policies, funding, and stakeholders throughout project implementation processes. She also contributes to NSA’s high-level research for new business opportunities in various sectors, including financial services. Astha is skilled at understanding community values, languages, and adopting tailored research methods to best understand and serve NSA clients.

Prior to joining NSA, Astha worked in nonprofit marketing and fundraising in the Los Angeles region, and has international policy work experience, pertaining to financial flows of development funds. Astha holds a Master of Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a focus on international economics, from the University of San Francisco.
